The killing of ODM Party MP Ong’ondo Were has really caught many off guard. The Kenya Kwanza government under the leadership of president William Ruto and his Deputy president Kithure Kindiki has left Kenyans feeling not protected.
Well, the killing of MP Ong’ondo Were has really attracted the attention of not only the political class but the Kenyans in general. According to Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah whose night post attracted mixed reactions said and i quote,
“Deeply shocked by the tragic and senseless killing of Hon. Charles Ong’ondo Were, MP for Kasipul. I served with him in the 12th and 13th Parliament and knew him as a dedicated and principled leader. My heartfelt condolences to his family and the people of Kasipul. May his soul rest in peace.” Kimani Ichung’wah said.
This caught the attention of Kenyans who reminded Kimani Ichung’wah that Kenyans have been shot severally especially the Gen Zs and no one has ever bothered.
