Principal Secretary for the State Department for Basic Education Julius Bitok’s has come out and reacted to a photo of old man walking with a young schoolgirl.
According to an update issued by Lemiso Media House, the photo captured an Old Man identified as Mzee Joseph Kimutai heading home with his grand daughter Cherop after picking her during lunch time from Kapkosom Primary School, Keiyo South located in Elgeyo Marakwet County.
The photo caught the attention of PS Julius Bitok who took to his official Facebook Page to share it and give his reactions. In his reaction, PS Bitok noted that Mzee Joseph Kimutai may be old but in his hands he carries the future of the nation.
PS Bitok stressed the importance of Education, saying Mzee Joseph Kimutai has chosen the path of Education so that his grand daughter may walk further than he ever could.
