Latest reports indicates that individual duties were assigned to opposition’s top officials as they seek to unseat president William Ruto in the next general election.

As reported, both former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, former interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi, former CSs Mithika Linturi and Justin Muturi have been given different roles.

A report covered on Wednesday’s People Daily publication claims that Eugene Wamalwa was assigned to consolidate western region while Martha Karua, Mithika Linturi and Justin Muturi were assigned to rally Mt Kenya region behind opposition.

Former vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka and Fred Matiangi have been tasked to unite Ukambani region and Gusii respectively.

It should be noted that the team is seeking to decide on who’ll be the flag bearer in 2027 as race to unseat Ruto speeds up.
