Guests who had gathered for a wedding ceremony were left in shock after being told for the fourth time that the bride and groom would not show up. The incident happened over the weekend, leaving the bride’s mother in tears and deep confusion.
According to family sources, this was the fourth time the couple had planned to tie the knot, only for the wedding to be called off again. Guests had arrived early, dressed up and ready to witness the big day, but they were later informed that the couple had disappeared without any explanation.
The bride’s mother, who had spent over KSh 986,000 on wedding preparations, was heartbroken. “I don’t understand what is happening. We have planned everything. We have cooked, we have paid for the venue, clothes, and everything needed. But still, they didn’t show up,” she said while weeping.
Despite the confusion, food had already been prepared, and the hosts decided to serve the guests. People were told to eat and return to their homes, as the wedding was not going to happen.
Some guests expressed disappointment, while others encouraged the family to remain strong. “No matter what you’re going through, just eat first,” one elder joked to lighten the mood.
The whereabouts of the couple remain unknown. Family members are still trying to reach them and understand what led to their sudden disappearance.
