Latest reports indicates that a former cabinet minister Sam Ongeri has revealed who the Gusii community should back to face president William Ruto in the 2027 election.
Speaking as reported by Wednesday’s People Daily publication, Sam Ongeri noted that the Gusii community should back former interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi.
According to Ongeri, Matiang’i is the only perfect individual that can give president William Ruto a difficult time and therefore the community should back his candidature.
” As a community, we have no choice but to back our son, the former interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi who has shown interest in running for presidency in the next election “, he said.
