Back then a man once again laid claim of late Cabinet Minister Prof. George Saitoti’s only son, Zachary Musengi.

The man identified as Sebastian Maina Ngunju claimed that he is the biological father of Musengi, who is known to be the son of the late Saitoti.

Ngunju said that his son was abducted 24 years ago from his home in Subukia, Nakuru County and maintains that Musengi is the kidnapped son.

He wanted the remains of the former Vice President, Saitoti, alongside his Assistant Minister in the Internal Security Ministry, Orwa Ojode, who perished on June 10, 2012 when the police helicopter they were travelling in crashed in Ngong Hills shortly after taking off from Nairobi’s Wilson Airpor, exhumed for a DNA test to be conducted.

A spot check on his LinkedIn account reveals that after completing high school, Zachary moved to Bristol to study arts, media and design at the University of the West of England.

His passion for photography started when he was still in high school after it was introduced into their curriculum. Zachary got the hang of it and decided to pursue it.

“I was in the darkroom, taking photos and mixing up the chemicals. It was an amazing organic process, so I realized this is my thing.” Zachary told The Designer Studios, a photography blog.

“There is something about the way film looks, the grain, something very natural and nice about doing it the old school way,” he added.

In 2009, Zachary established his own company in Nairobi, called Shifteye Photography Studios located in Priory Place along Arwings Khodek Road.

Zachary attended Kenton College between 1994 and 1996, before proceeding to join The King’s School, Canterbury, where he studied until 2001.

He had a one-year stint at Seaford College, and later attended the University of the West of England from 2003 to 2006. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design.
