A woman identified as Angela has come forward with troubling allegations involving a popular DJ and his fiancée, following a chaotic night in Kiambu County.
According to Angela, she received a call from the DJ on March 24, claiming he was near the Kiambu Prisons and urgently needed her help. Concerned for his well-being, Angela rushed out, boarded a matatu, and made her way to Kiambu Town.
However, upon arrival and checking her phone—having been offline during the journey—Angela discovered that the DJ was not in any distress, but instead drinking with a friend named Makenzie. She decided to join them.
During the gathering, the DJ allegedly invited another woman to the venue, whom Angela assumed was just a friend. Later, she learned that the woman was romantically involved with the DJ as well.
The following day, the DJ’s current fiancée, Yvonne Mugure, arrived. Angela claims tensions quickly escalated, especially since Mugure reportedly knew about Angela’s past relationship with the DJ.
The confrontation led to a heated exchange at a friend’s house, where Angela alleges she was assaulted by Mugure and others.
She recalls being pushed, hitting a pole, and blacking out—waking up injured and in pain. Angela further alleges that a bottle was thrown at her and that the caretaker called the police after witnessing the scene.
In response, Mugure took to Instagram to deny the accusations. She stated that Angela was intoxicated, made inappropriate financial requests, and was politely asked to leave.
Mugure insists she wasn’t involved in any altercation and has not been named in any legal proceedings.
