Feminine

In a bizarre and shocking turn of events, two men identified as Alex Mugo Wachira and Simon Chomba Mbogo have been exposed for posing as women on TikTok, where they lured unsuspecting clients under false pretenses.

Operating under the alias “Kirinyaga Queens,” the duo had gained significant attention online for their convincing feminine appearance and dance moves, amassing a following of over 19,000 users.

Disguising themselves in stylish wigs, makeup, and women’s clothing—including short skirts and figure-hugging outfits—the two men portrayed themselves as attractive female dancers and professional masseuses.

Their videos showcased them moving gracefully to popular tunes, adopting mannerisms and waist movements typically associated with female performers. Their presentation was so polished that many online followers were convinced of their fabricated identities.

However, behind the entertaining content was a darker motive. It is reported that Alex and Simon used their online fame to lure victims with false massage service offers. Once the clients were hooked, they were reportedly robbed of their money and personal items.

Their scheme eventually unraveled, leading to their arrest in the Kasarani area. Following their exposure, several of their dance videos went viral across social media platforms, with many users expressing disbelief at how effectively the duo had portrayed their characters.

The incident has sparked conversations around online impersonation and the lengths to which some individuals go to exploit social media platforms for personal gain.

While the Kirinyaga Queens may have entertained thousands, their deceit has highlighted the importance of online caution and the need for accountability in digital spaces.
