A week after President William Ruto’s Mt Kenya development tour where he met discontent crowd, a report has revealed how some MPs were summoned after failing to stop heckling of Ruto’s allies.

As reported by Friday’s People’s Daily publication, several MPs from Mt Kenya region were summoned at statehouse to explain the heckling and booing incidents that was witnessed during Ruto’s tour.

One MP who attended the meeting noted that they were questioned why they failed to use all the available resources to stop heckling incidents.

Ruto was allegedly furious at how Kikuyu Constituency member of parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwah was heckled and demanded for a quick action.
