Amina Mohamed

Ambassador Amina Mohamed is a renowned technocrat who has held key government positions, including CS for Education, Sports, and Foreign Affairs under President Uhuru Kenyatta. She started her educational journey in Kakamega before joining Butere Girls for her secondary education.

Mary Okello

Last on this list is entrepreneur and educationist Mary Okello who is the founder of Makini Schools. She made history as Kenya’s first female bank manager and has left a lasting mark in the nation’s financial and education sectors. She attended Butere Girls for her Secondary education then known as O-levels.
