Celebrated Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau alias Kate Actress has opened up about her life, and revealed to the whole world that she has undergone a massive weight loss.
The multi award-winning actress has actually lost 13.3 Kgs, and this is something that she cannot keep calm about.
Taking to her instagram stories on Tuesday, the 8th of April, Kate Actress made some posts where she was talking about her weight loss journey, and she disclosed that her weight had gone down from 82.3 Kgs to now being 69 Kgs.
The mother of two was also proud of how the inches of her waist had now gone down, something which showed that she had indeed lost some weight.
In the posts, Kate Actress further disclosed the secret to her impressive transformation, and said that she has been undergoing a cosmetic procedure for the last four months at one local clinic.
Despite the incredible achievement, Kate Actress further revealed to her fans that she will not stop there.
The talented actress will infact now go to the gym to work on her physique, as she has not yet gotten her dream body.
The cosmetic procedure
Kate Actress has actually been doing the Wegovy treatment for weight loss, which is a prescribed medicine that is given once a week.
She actually disclosed this in a post that she made on her Instagram account on the 24th of February 2025, where she shared a short video clip of her undergoing the treatment at one clinic, where she was given her dose.
According to reports, Wegovy contains semaglutide just like Ozempic albeit in higher doses, as it is used mainly for weight loss.
It works by reducing the appetite of a person, leading to him/her eating less and therefore losing weight.
