Although CS Joho did not disclose the exact event they were attending, Raila’s appearance comes just days after he wrote an emotional tribute for his longtime aide, the late George Oduor.
The late George Oduor, who had been Raila’s personal security guard, passed away on Wednesday, April 2.In a poignant reflection, Raila shared how Oduor had an uncanny ability to sense danger from a distance and often advised caution, or even an immediate exit, when necessary.
During a prayer service and viewing in Nairobi on Thursday, April 3, mourners witnessed Raila overcome with emotion as he spoke about Oduor’s passing over the phone with attorney Silas Jakakimba.
Jakakimba revealed that Raila was deeply moved, breaking down in tears as he discussed his late friend’s passing.
