Mary from Thoma painfully narrated now she was raped by two men the whole night in the middle of no where. She did not find anyone go help her despite her screams the misery happened whan she had gone to preach christ in the Masai land that left her HIV positive .
According to her,when she was still young her elder sister who was married took her in in order to stay with her nieces.She lacked motherly love while there since her sister was busy with her career.
Her problem begun when,she aproached adolescent stage.When she received her first monthly periods,she was in class 4.Her sister was not around which forced her to aproach a neighbour but she instead rebuked her.
The lady went ahead and asked all the estate girls not to play with her on claims that she was ill mannered.She was mentally affected and started developing depression.
When her sister realized waited behaviors from her,she took her back home and while there she tried to end her life by taking poison. She survived but she had lost her speech and wouldn’t walk.
After several years,she regained her speech and was able to walk again.She vowed to spread the good news about Christ to people who had never heard about it.
She went to Masai land with a group of christian union students.They would Viet different homes to preach and on the fateful day,she met two men on the way and decided to preach to them but before she could do it,they had grabbed her and pulled HSR in a thicket where they raped her.
As if that was not enough ,they carried her in a Manyatta where they raped her the whole night.Her effort to scream for help was futile since the area was sparsely occupied.
The following day she was left in a forest where a good Samaritan who was hearding helped her to trace her way to where they were staying.Despite the pain she chose to forgive the two men for her yo heal.
