The president, Dr William Ruto was accompanied by some political leaders in his tour today at Tharaka Nithi county. He gave them a chance to speak to the crowd that had ushered them in Tharaka Nithi.
Kimani Ichung’wa addressed the people and urged them to support the current government for their own benefit. He also challenged the people to support the president in the next general election so that he can accomplish more projects in the whole country.
At the same time, a popular politician, Sabina Chege was given a chance to address the gathering. On her side, Sabina thanked the people of Tharaka for supporting the deputy president (KIthure Kindiki) by coming out in large numbers to welcome the president during his tour.
Sabina further told the people of Tharaka that the people from Mt Kenya region are behind the president and in full support of what he is doing. She also claimed that all her people from Murang’a and the surrounding regions are behind Kithure Kindiki.
“Receive all the greetings from the people of Murang’a county and all the Kikuyus are behind Kithure Kindiki and William Samoei Ruto,” Sabina said.
