Renowned Swahili news anchor Mary Kilobi has welcomed a baby, marking a joyous milestone in her life with veteran trade unionist Francis Atwoli.
The news comes a few years after Atwoli made headlines for confidently declaring his prowess in the bedroom during an interview with Jeff Koinange on Citizen TV.
Back in 2021, Atwoli, the outspoken Secretary-General of the Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU), had boldly responded to Jeff’s probing questions about his ability to perform as a man after marrying Kilobi, who is several years younger than him.

In his usual charismatic style, Atwoli assured the public that he was still very much active. His remarks, “Mbaya sana” (I do perform), sparked widespread reactions, with many debating his confidence.
