Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has sparked national debate with his latest remarks criticizing the state of governance in Kenya.

The outspoken county boss expressed frustration over the manner in which the country is being run, claiming that Kenya is plagued by excessive foolishness and poor leadership.

He likened the current leadership style to ruling over citizens like rats, suggesting that Kenyans are being taken for granted by those in power.

Governor Natembeya’s remarks come amid rising public dissatisfaction over issues such as high cost of living, unfulfilled promises, and increasing corruption within government institutions.

His comments have struck a chord with many citizens, especially in the wake of ongoing political realignments and heightened tensions between different factions of the political elite.

The former regional commissioner turned politician is known for his candid style and has not shied away from challenging the status quo.

His latest outburst is likely to deepen the growing rift between leaders who are demanding reforms and those defending the current administration’s approach to governance.
