After MP Peter Salasya was attacked and assaulted by goons at Nyayo Stadium, he broke the silence and revealed how he managed to protect his mobile phone, as some of the people who were assaulting him were trying to steal it.
According to the source, MP Peter Salasya has confirmed that some of the goons were trying to steal his mobile phone at the same time as assaulting him.
He has added that he paid 300,000 shillings for the phone, and he did everything possible to protect it.
Also, he had confirmed that the suspects who attacked him are well known and acknowledged that most of them live in Kibera.
He has noticed on his social media account Facebook that the suspects will be punished by God for attacking him and causing injuries.
He has also confirmed that the said goons were lucky because he did not carry his firearm, and he did not have a bodyguard during the attack.
This just came in after it emerged that some of the people who attacked him are linked to Raila Odinga.
This happens as cases of politicians being attacked in the country have been witnessed in the country.
These cases should be condemned, and all Kenyans should remain united and also respect leaders.
These cases of attack or hiring goons to attack other leaders should be stopped.
Detectives should do investigations and make sure that all the suspects linked to politicians attacks are being arrested and serve as an example.
