As cases of drug trafficking have been increasing, leaving Kenyans sympathising with the suspects, including the case of Margret Nduta, who was sentenced to death in Vietnam, fresh details have just emerged about two suspects who were arrested by detectives in daylight ferrying deadly drugs.
According to the source, two suspects have been arrested red-handed ferrying several rolls of bhang. They said suspects who have been identified as Tyson Mwai, 30, and Samson Gathuki, 21, were apprehended in the Kimbo area with 800 rolls of bhang in Kiambu County.
Detectives have confirmed that the two suspects were arrested ferrying the said illegal drugs, which are also considered deadly because they cause several effects to the users.
I quote some statements from the source. “Authorities not only seized the rolls but also discovered a range of bhang packaged in sachets: 13 polythene sachets of 35 grams each, five sachets weighing 130 grams, 44 sachets of 16 grams, and two digital weighing machines, signalling a well-organised trafficking operation,” said the DCI in a statement on X.
Further, this happens as cases of drug trafficking have been reported in the country, and some of the suspects have been arrested by police officers.
The suspects are expected to be taken to court to answer charges.
Meanwhile, all Kenyans are encouraged to be very careful and report all drug traffickers in the country.
This happens as Margret Nduta’s Case. Have been tending in the country since last week after it emerged that she will be executed for trafficking illegal drugs.
This will help to minimise drug abuse and save our youths.
