Martha Karua, the leader of the people’s liberty party has spoken about the recent political discussions between Raila Odinga and President William Ruto. Karua made it clear that she was aware of the talks but decided not to be part of them.

Speaking during an interview, Karua revealed that Raila Odinga, the leader of Azimio, informed her about his discussions with President Ruto. However, she chose to stay out of the process. “Raila told us about his discussions with President Ruto, but I did not want to get involved or join them,” she stated firmly.

Karua has been a strong critic of the Kenya Kwanza government and has often spoken against its leadership. She has continuously accused President Ruto’s administration of failing to deliver on its promises and leading the country in the wrong direction. Many expected her to join Raila in the talks, but she chose a different path.

Her decision to stay out of the discussions has sparked mixed reactions. Some supporters believe she is standing firm on her principles, while others think she should have been part of the talks to represent the opposition’s interests. Karua has always been known for her independent mind and strong stance on justice and democracy.

Despite her decision, Karua has not said whether she will continue working with Raila Odinga in the future. She has, however, insisted that she will always stand for the truth and fight for the rights of Kenyans. She believes that any discussions or agreements should focus on improving the lives of ordinary citizens rather than benefiting a few political leaders.
