Three people have gone missing in unclear circumstances as the war on terror and criminal gangs intensifies.

The trio; teachers from Cheptulel location Chesegon are reported to have been picked from their houses this morning by people believed to be military officers.

 

According to area MP Hon. Lochakapong Peter, the alleged Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldiers raided Arpolo and Chemalei villages on Friday morning and picked Raymond Kishaunet, Titus kura, Daniel Lotulia(Deputy Principal Cheptulel Girls) from their homes.

The whereabouts of the three are still unknown.

In a statement, the MP disclosed that he had already engaged the government on this matter

“I have already engaged CS Kipchumba Murkomen and Major General on this matter, and I am pleased to report that the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) has been deployed to address the situation. We will not allow our people to suffer unfairly, and I demand immediate intervention to ensure the safe release of those arrested and the return of confiscated livestock,”

 

Member of the National Assembly for Pokot South Hon. David Pkosing Losiakou has condemned the incident and called for immediate release of the three teachers.

 

The leaders said they have received so many complaints from various families blaming the security agencies for the disappearances of their kinsmen.
