The Kenya Times as reported a section of Kenyans staged drama outside the Kenyatta International Convention Centre as President William Ruto and ODM party leader Raila Odinga held a meeting.
In the report given by the news outlet, a section of Kenyans were pictured swimming and cooling off in the fountains outside the KICC hall as they waited for announcement from the two leaders.
While some Kenyans were swimming inside the fountains, hundreds stood by the poll as they enjoyed the drama staged by their friends. The police who guarded the premises to maintain order were also pictured watching from a distance without taking any action.
Earlier, videos of Orange Democratic Movement party faithfuls made rounds online as dances and sang outside the KICC building, waiting for the big announcement from their party leader Mr Raila Odinga.
Odinga and Ruto have now officially signed a memorandum of understanding that will see the two politicians work together ahead of the 2027 general elections. The two leaders are now hopeful that the newfound camaraderie will better the lives of Kenyans.
