Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has now said that Kenya as a country is in crisis due to reasons that can be addressed by the government of Kenya led by President William Ruto.
Odinga while speaking in Kisii county on Thursday morning stated that the country has found itself in crisis because the government has failed to pay attention to issues affecting Kenyans.
Mr Odinga who was in Kisii for his consultative engagements with his supporters stated apart from insensitive to critical issues, the government has also failed to seal corruption loopholes, something which he said has compromised service delivery.
The former premier stated that Kenya can be save from the hole it has found itself currently but only if the government agrees to give priority to critical issues like heath, infrastructure and housing.
“I believe that our country is in crisis and it is solvable. Our country has reached this level because of lack of proper attention to critical issues and the issues of corruption in service delivery.” He regretted
Odinga said that he is still continuing with his consultations and will give his way forward in the coming days.
