Eddy has been in prison for a long time. This is after one of the girls who worked for him filed a false report that he tried to sleep with her forcefully. However as we came to learn, it was an evil plot of His lover Caren and Naomi who wanted Eddy arrested for their selfish interests. The two have Ben talking behind his back and they planned to keep him there for a long time.
But when Naomi took a break and went on vacation, Caren reconsidered her decision of having Eddy behind bars. She saw it was not right and given the fact that she loved him and misses him, she decided to drop the charges and have him freed. This she visited Eddy and shared with him the good news.
She told him the the girl who had him arrested was money hungry and that Caren sorted her out. This made Eddy happy and saw Caren as his saviour. He caressed her right there in prison and promised to marry her as soon as he is released.
