Politicians across the country have started aligning themselves ready for the 2027 general elections which is going to be hotly contested. As it stands, president Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance Party and the former second Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya Hon Raila Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement party are the two largest and most followed parties.

But the two parties are facing mounting criticisms for the suffering and struggles in the country. Most Kenyans seem to be avoiding those parties given that they have decided to work together. President Ruto and Hon Raila have received huge blows as several politicians in Trans Nzoia decided to ditch their parties and instead join Eugene Wamalwa’s Democratic Action Party.

“Deputy Party Leader, Transnzoia Governor George Natembeya yesterday led our party in receiving defectors who ditched Ford Kenya, UDA and ODM Political Parties at Ukombozi Centre.” Posted by DAP party
