A report by the Standard media has accused a group of influential politicians allied to President William Ruto of owning shadow firms that are linked to the new Insurance health policy Sha.

According to the Standard, despite the failure of the system that has made it difficult for some Kenyans to make their payments, these politicians have still be making billions of shillings through their firms.

In their newspaper headline, the standard has reported that millions of Kenyans have become worried with the new insurance policy with many wondering how their hospital bills will be paid. The report also states that there is a huge network of shadow firms backed by influential politicians quietly managing the billions of shillings pumped into the Ruto project.

 

Some of the firms mentioned include Apeiro Limited which has pocketed sh. 104 billion, Konvergenz Holding, Webmaster Kenya limited, Olive tree Limited among other firms.

With SHA system failure constantly, many Kenyans are concerned on where there has been actual accountability and transparency with the new health insurance policy.
