The grounds of Bukiri Primary School were turned into a scene of electrifying chaos this afternoon as firebrand lawyer Prof. George Wajackoyah and ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna made a dramatic entrance at the Orange Democratic Movement’s (ODM) 20th-anniversary celebrations.

A video shared online by Uzalendo News, thousands of ODM loyalists, draped in the party’s signature orange colors, had gathered to mark two decades of political resilience, but little did they anticipate the storm that was about to hit.

The moment Wajackoyah’s convoy screeched into the venue, an entourage that resembled a presidential motorcade, complete with high-performance motorbikes, tinted SUVs, and a sea of supporters, pandemonium erupted.

Spectators jostled for a closer view, chanting slogans and waving banners as the self-proclaimed “Ganja President” emerged from his vehicle, donning his signature durag and dark glasses.

His mere presence sent the crowd into a frenzy, with some climbing trees and rooftops just to catch a glimpse of the enigmatic professor.

Not to be outdone, Senator Edwin Sifuna, ODM’s indefatigable mouthpiece, stormed in moments later with a thunderous reception.

Clad in a sharply tailored suit and flanked by a battalion of ODM youth leaders, Sifuna wasted no time electrifying the masses.

His arrival was so intense that security personnel momentarily lost control, leading to an impromptu stampede that saw chairs, banners, and even a few unsuspecting chapati vendors sent flying in all directions.

As the dust settled, Wajackoyah took the microphone, his gravelly voice booming through the speakers.

In his signature dramatic style, he declared ODM the “heartbeat of democracy” while taking playful jabs at political rivals.

Sifuna, never one to hold back, followed with an impassioned speech that sent the crowd into an ear-splitting roar, forcing organizers to pause the program for nearly ten minutes.

For a ceremony meant to be a reflection of ODM’s journey, it became an unforgettable spectacle, one where Wajackoyah and Sifuna didn’t just attend; they took over.
