Boy band Sauti Sol have announced they are embarking on projects dubbed ‘alone together’ assuring fans that they will reunite in May 2022 for a joint album.
A statement says it ‘is the mantra we formed to define the unique next chapter as brothers’.
The solo projects lined up begin with Bien launching his exciting project.
“after two long years and several postponements due to covid 109we are finally at our first international residency in the UK and the fan brought that iconic Sauti Sol love and energy this week to our shows at Jazz cafe. We are immensely grateful. It is a journey where we are self actualizing by showcasing our personal strengths and characters as the artistes who came together as Sauti Sol.”
“The African king of bald men – Bien will kick u off wit his first solo single, a collaborative track between him and Jazz maestro Aaron Rimbui aptly titled ‘the bald men anthem’ set to be released on Friday 8th October. This date will also mark the inception of Bien, Chimano, Savara and Polycarp’s individual journey as entertainers.”
They conclude their announcement saying
