The issue of the missing chiefs in Madera county has raised a heated debate in the country with some people doubting if the abduction really happened.
The timing of the incident is a bit suspicious as it happened just a day before Ruto started his tour on the Northern Kenya counties. Some people have even said it was staged to give Ruto relevance during his tour.
High Court advocate Wahome Thuku has come out to allege that the abduction was staged by UDA goons and the chiefs are hiding somewhere in Kilimani eating good food.
He said that the Ksh7 million ransom being demanded will go to the pockets of some UDA goons who will use it for campaigns when the time comes. He has predicted that the government will release the money and in a short time they will be freed. Wahome has said this is the biggest form of fraud on Kenyans.
