In this context, the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has taken action against Ty Woods K Ltd, a manufacturing company based in Mau Summit, Nakuru, after receiving several complaints regarding air pollution caused by its operations.
NEMA’s inspection revealed that the company had not secured the required emissions license to operate legally. This failure to comply with environmental regulations prompted the agency to shut down the facility, citing the company’s disregard for the required legal and environmental standards.
