To aid in her recovery, Maurine Kabu gave Rachel Otuoma, the widow of the late football player Ezekiel Otuoma, a considerate holiday.
Rachel received a three-day vacation to Mombasa as a thank you for the thoughtful gesture, which allowed her to rest and rejuvenate.

After a difficult time of mourning her husband’s death from motor neurone illness, Rachel received this thoughtful gesture.
According to Maurine, the owner of Adequate Safars and the daughter of well-known businessman Simon Kabu, she thought it was time to give Rachel a break and aid in her recovery.
In a special interview with TUKO.co.ke, Maurine gave the following explanation for her decision to give Rachel the vacation: We have been following Rachel Otuoma’s tale, which hasn’t been easy for her, because I, Maurine Kabu, am a fan of hers.
She is a tough, tenacious woman. She remained by her husband’s side in spite of everything. Supporting customers and followers is a cornerstone of our goal at Adequate Safaris, since we believe in giving back to society,” Maurine said.
When Maurine informed Rachel of the news, she said that Rachel was so appreciative that she felt that her greatest need was a vacation. Maurine remembered that “she was very happy and grateful for the holiday gift.”
The trip, which spent three days and two nights on the serene beaches of Mombasa, gave Rachel a chance to recuperate. Maurine said, “She took time off from everything and really enjoyed herself.”
When Maurine thought back on their encounter, she characterized Rachel as a strong, resilient woman who inspires her and many others.
