A family in Nakuru is very sad and wants to find their two sons who have been missing for a long time. Esther Kerubo, the mother, often cries when she talks about her sons, Alfred Oboto and Vincent Mutari.

The last time anyone saw them was in March 2022, just before they disappeared under strange circumstances.

The two brothers were spending time with their family when they went missing. Esther remembers the last moments with one of her sons.

She said that Mutari had gone to visit his older brother in Lanet, Nakuru, when they were reportedly taken by four men who are believed to be police officers. On that same day, Esther was in the hospital, which made everything more difficult for her. She recalls asking her daughter-in-law where her sons were.

Maxwell Mankone, the father of Oboto and Mutari, also talked about how he found out his sons were missing. He received a phone call on the day they disappeared, which left him confused and worried. “I got a call in the morning saying that some people had come to our house around noon and took our sons,” he shared.

Since that day, the family has been searching everywhere for their boys. They have visited many police stations, hospitals, and even mortuaries, hoping to find some news about them.

Unfortunately, all their efforts have not led to any answers. “Since then, I can’t sleep well, I don’t eat, and I feel lost,” Esther said. She pleaded, “Whoever has my sons, please bring them back. Will I die without seeing them again?”

Even though the four men who are said to have taken the brothers are believed to be police officers, the National Police Service has denied any involvement in the case.

Esther also talked about how she was tricked by conmen who claimed they had information about her sons.
