A popular gospel artist, Edith Wairimu was hosted on a Thursday, 23rd January at Kameme FM during a program of heroes and heroines. During the interview, Edith revealed that her mother passed through a lot of pain while raising her especially while she was still at a toddling age.
Edith claimed that her mother, Wairimu met wairimu’s father while still at her 20’s and the two had a good family. However, Wairimu had reached form 2 as her highest level of education while her hubby had reached form 4. After marriage, the couple agreed to support one another in education. After doing some logistics, the two decided to support the husband since he had already reached form 4 level and would easily do a course that would lead him in acquiring the job easily.
However. Wairimu’s hubby met another girl in campus and was drawn by lust into loving her. He blindly started alcoholism and started to emotionally fight Wairimu. At one point, Wairimu’s hubby started a fight with his wife while Edith was 9 months old and this led to the divorce. Edith claimed that this is the way she started being raised by a single mother.
