Recently, the Akothee Foundation, through its member Milanoi Nancy OGW from Kajiado county, identified a family in dire need. The family comprises 24-year-old widow Nantoyie Tumaina and her five children: Samuel Ndeseyia Tumaina – 11 years old, in Grade 4. Elijah Kariantoi Tumaina – 8 years old, in Grade 2, Irine Nasila Tumaina – 5 years old, in PP1.Isaac Leposo Tumaina – 3 years old. Matayo Ntiyoki Tumaina – 2 months old.
The foundation proposed integrating the family into Akothee Academy, providing housing and employment for Nantoyie to ensure her children remain under her care while she earns a living. However, communication challenges have arisen, with the family being unresponsive despite efforts to reach out through a relative, John.
The Akothee Foundation remains committed to assisting this family and is seeking individuals from Rombo village, Esukuta, in Loitoktok Sub-county, Kajiado County, to help facilitate communication and understanding. Community involvement is crucial to bridge the gap and provide the necessary support to Nantoyie and her children during this challenging time.
