Susan Wairimu from Kiambu has narrated how her deadbeat baby Daddy chased her kids at night with a machete when she was away working to met their basic needs.
According to her is that she met that man when she was only 19 years working in a certain company and she was using matutu to go home and their age difference was 18 years.
She says that after knowing each other for two months they started dating and on the third month she got pregnant and she had to get married to him. After she got her second born she stopped working and life became hard since her husband didn’t provide everything.
Susan says that after struggling for long she started selling cereals and after her husband saw that she was making money he stopped providing for the family that she was the one even paying school fees for the kids.
She says that it reached a point she had to go outside the country in Sudan to do business and she left the kids with the father and she would come to visit them time to time.
Susan says that one day she decided to treat her kids on jamhuri day by buying them chicken at a local and when they went they came back late and their father didn’t have keys for the gate and house.
She says that she was receiving calls from her neighbor telling her that her husband was chasing the kids at night with the machete and had injured them on their hands and were bleeding.
Susan says that she couldn’t believe after doing everything her husband had the guts to hurt her kids and after two days she came back to Kenya and she reported him to the police and he said that he no longer wants them as his kids.She says that she regret the day she met her husband but she thank God that she had been able to raise them.
