Billy Mwangi, one of the 6 youths who had been abducted in December 2024 by unknown men, and then held incommunicado before they were later released, has opened up about his life and revealed some unfortunate details.
The young man who is currently in his early 20s has infact disclosed that things have not been easy for him, because he is currently still struggling mentally after what he went through.
Billy Mwangi revealed this in a post that he made on his X account, where he further asked for prayers from his fans, so that the Most High can keep him strong to get through it all.
“I’m going through a lot mentally, keep me in your prayers” he said.
The post by Billy Mwangi however elicited some reactions from netizens, who comforted him and urged him to continue being strong. Some even promised to pray for him.

The disclosure by Billy Mwangi however came just hours after he marked a month since he was unfortunately abducted by the men, who were believed to be agents of the state.
The young man was abducted on the 21st of December, 2024 in Embu, and many believed that he was taken because of how he had been endlessly criticizing President William Ruto on social media.
According to reports, Billy Mwangi went through a lot while he was held incommunicado.
He was tortured, whipped and also held in a dark room for those 16 days. He was also given one meal a day, and this meal was portioned to make him suffer.
On Wednesday, the 21st of January however, Billy Mwangi took to his X account and marked one month since it all happened.
“Today marks exactly one month since I was abducted” he said.
