Residents of Kathiani in Machakos County were treated to a free-for-all drama after an angry wife set ablaze her man’s new car, accusing it of making him stray.
Reports indicate that the jilted woman did the bizarre after she reportedly busted him cheating on her.
The furious woman doused the car with petrol and set it on fire to teach him a lesson he will never forget.
The scene attracted a crowd of locals, some of whom further damaged the car and watched it burn to ashes.
Confirming the incident, Kaewa assistant chief Ranson Ndambuki said the drama occurred in the middle of a road near Kwa Katunga forest.
The administrator said the woman informed the authorities that she decided to publicly express her rage and disappointment at her husband whom she accused of infidelity.
Neighbours disclosed that the couple had been having “issues” lately, ever since the husband bought a car. They have for long been entertained by these petty squabbles, especially when the wife accused her husband of impunity and disrespect.
