During an interview with Dr. Ofweneke Show in his shlw at a local Tv channel, Sarah Mtalii, a businesswoman, opened the curtains upon her breakup with businessman Simon Kabu. The discussion then gave a close-up of the challenges, growth, and lessons learned in trying to bring up a family alongside a successful business, Bonfire Ventures.
She opened an eye on the reasons behind their breakup with self-awareness, resilience, and mental health. Said it was one of the finally hardest decisions she had to make, but to well being, both for herself and her family. Sarah revealed issues of infidelity, toxicity, and narcissism that were entrenched in their marriage. She said business was their prime focus that compromised emotional connection and thus intimacy. After passing many passwords, she managed once to access his phone and found obscene pictures that led her to the decision to walk out.
Remembering their lavish trips, Sarah noticing the lack of emotional closeness. She said, It is an akcnowlegment on her part of the marriage struggle. According to her admission, their unity was built around business with little time for socializing and appreciating one another.
This couple, blessed with two children, saw their life together go down the drain come early 2022. They held the facade of being together on social media while it lasted to ensure that the business was not crippled. Sarah also revealed that her ex-husband had children with other women and would have tolerated an extra partner to save their business ties.
Both have moved on, yet, Sarah noted, the pair would always have time for parenting. Future love should not be a question any more, as she stated, “money would not be a consideration in future relationships.”
