Earlier today, friends family and colleagues gathered to lay Ezekiel Otuoma to rest. According to sources, the footballer was ailing from motor neurone disease, which started in 2020. Unfortunately, the disease highly affected his nerves, and he succumbed to it.
Eulogizing Otuoma, one of his uncles praised Rachel for being a good wife. Thanking her mother for raising her well, the uncle hilariously wondered if she has any sisters who can be given as wives out there. Concluding his speech, the uncle requested Rachel not to ditch them once she returns to Nairobi. He also urged her to have a good relationship with her mother-in-law just like Naomi and Ruth of the bible did.
“Don’t run away. Continue to stay in this home. Even when you return to Nairobi and start a business, remember this is still your home, do not run away” He stated.
Many Kenyans have sympathized with Rachel, and they pray that God would continue to strengthen her. May Otuoma’s soul rest in peace.
