According to the reports reaching my desk from tuko.co.ke this evening,George Ruto’s matatu driver was arrested yesterday and arraigned to court today.The driver was pictured driving the matatu while passengers were on top of the matatu which is against the law.NTSA had impounded the matatu yesterday and the driver will be charged for his reckless behaviour. He caused alot of danger to the number of Kenyans who were on top of the matatu.
It is the mandate of the driver to ensure all passengers are inside the matatu before taking off.It is against the law to driver a matatu while passengers are on top of the matatu. We hope justice will take it’s course in the coming days.The matatu had been voted among the best in the country. However,reckless driving could tarnish its name.
