The convoy of Prophet Awuor while he was going to Nakuru has elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans. As seen by this writer in a viral video making rounds on the internet, the man of God arrived like a powerful person.
There was a large convoy of vehicles consisting of expensive cars like Mercedes Benz and Range Rovers. There were at least 60 vehicles that escorted him. The security was very high comprising of police officers and personal bodyguards.
The vehicle that Awuor was driving in, a sleek brand new Range Rover there were a number of bodyguards who alighted immediately it stopped and opened the door for him. When he touched the ground the crowd went wild.
Prophet Awuor has a huge following in the country and this has made him very rich. Nowadays people use the church to amaze wealth and it has become a business. Gone are the days when pastors used to walk freely and mingle with the people as nowadays they walk with armed bodyguards.
