Celebrated Kenyan journalist Edith Kimani has in the last few hours or so rose the eyebrows of many on social media.
This is after she took to her Instagram stories and openly aired her frustration, after her rumoured lover Larry Madowo openly ignored the affection that she had shown towards her.

The sassy queen, who is also a Correspondent of the popular German station Deutsche Welle (DW), actually shared a screenshot of a chat that she recently had with the handsome CNN International Correspondent.
According to the screenshot, what was clear is that Edith Kimani was the one who started the conversation, and she wished Larry Madowo a happy new year. She even referred to him as her lover in the text.
In his response however, Larry Madowo ignored how she had called him her love, and he just sent an emotionless message saying “Happy new year!”.
The CNN International Correspondent further told the Deutsche Welle Correspondent that he could not celebrate the new year yet, because he was in Angola and it had not yet reached the new year in that country.
Edith Kimani then made joke, where she said that what Larry Madowo said sounded like problems of 2024.
The latter was clearly pleased with the joke, because he even replied to it with a laughing emoji.
Edith Kimani was however not pleased by how Larry Madowo did not show love back to her like the way she did to him.
The sassy Deutsche Welle Correspondent actually penned a caption to the screenshot, where she referred to the CNN International Correspondent as a cold person, because he just couldn’t do that simple thing.
“This MF 🧊.
Like no, HNYE (Happy New Year Eve) tyt (take your time) love?” Edith Kimani wrote.
