Atommy Sifa, a seasoned Luo musician, has publicly defended himself against those who believe he is not a parent. The Benga artist praised his two adult daughters’ brilliance and bemoaned their lack of opportunity as he showcased them.
“I was not a father, but a lot of people claimed that I was making noise about kids having jobs. “I am a father, and my children are behind me,” he remarked. Sarah, whom Atommy named after his mother, was one of his daughters. Additionally, he mentioned that he wrote a song in honor of his baby mama.
“She recently passed Form Four. She is the girl Babu Owino promised to teach. He hasn’t sent her anything since he wrote her a KSh 20,000 check when he was in Form Two.
I fought with her until he finished, and I’m grateful that the teachers assured me she would pass and that I should get ready to send her to college,” he continued.
Atommy’s methods for getting baby mother ready Additionally, he presented Whitney, his oldest daughter, who stated that he was attempting to secure funding in order to enroll in the university.
“I’ll never hesitate to let you know when I’m uncomfortable. What about the ladies who are having a hard time teaching children?
When a boda boda guy has another child, it hurts me. I got the mother ready early since I knew my daughter is ready for college. I got her with a girlfriend for the other one, and I took them all. I’m teaching them by myself,” he stated.
Attommy asked those in positions of power to employ his daughters and those from his region affected by high poverty levels. “Get our kids jobs in government. I am making noise because I am a father.
So, because I did not go to school, does it mean my kids won’t be educated? Or just because I am an artiste I must only have artistes. Where do we take the kids if there are no opportunities?” he further said.
