Taking to social media, Ahmednasir accused the Azimio/Uhuru administration of paying Supreme Court judges millions of dollars to overturn the election results that declared President William Ruto the winner.

Ahmednasir claimed that four judges of the Supreme Court were each bribed, with three receiving $2 million each, while one, described as “notoriously corrupt,” allegedly pocketed between $3 million and $3.5 million from various groups within the Azimio coalition.

“I have said many times that Azimio/Uhuru administration bribed 4 judges of the Supreme Court to overturn the presidential result in 2022,” he wrote, adding that the bribery scheme extended beyond the Supreme Court.

The senior lawyer further alleged that High Court judges were deployed by the administration to deliver bribes to key officials of an unnamed constitutional body, further deepening the influence on the election outcome.

“The rot in the judiciary is deep and extensive,” Ahmednasir said, highlighting what he described as systemic corruption within the judicial system.

This latest accusation has reignited debates over the integrity of Kenya’s judiciary and the controversial 2022 election.

While no concrete evidence accompanied the claims, Ahmednasir’s assertions are expected to raise questions about the judiciary’s impartiality and accountability during that period.

Neither the Azimio coalition nor Uhuru Kenyatta have issued a response to the allegations.
