Kenyan comedian Flaqo disclosed he made KSh 20 million during the COVID 19 pandemic period. TikTok sensation David Moya revealed to his fans that he made his first million on his 25th birthday. The report revealed the rise of new young millionaires as there were more than 1,000 youthful entrepreneurs under 40 on the list representing 27%. “For the first time as part of our attitude survey, we asked respondents about young wealth, to find out how many individuals under 40 years old created their own wealth, the level is higher than the global average, this shows that young entrepreneurs in Kenya are well placed to take advantage of such opportunities,” said Knight Frank Kenya MD Ben Woodhams.

1. Flaqo.

Erastus Otieno, popularly referred to by his stage name Flaqo is a Kenyan comedian.The 31 year old funnyman recently revealed he made KSh 20 million during the COVID 19 pandemic period. The comedian said he raked in income from endorsement deals which offered handsome pay. “I think I made around KSh 20 million during the COVID 19 period. I don’t know the exact amount because I have not been making those calculations but when I look at my records it has reached that amount. I was doing adverts, any job offered I would take and people were paying me money left and right,” Citizen Digital quoted him.

2. Eve Mungai.

The 24 year old YouTuber earns an average of KSh1.5 million monthly from her videos, Who Owns Kenya reported. Her channel has over 546,000 subscribers. The content creator has been sharing human interest videos which have attracted thousands of fans.

3. David Moya.

The Tiktok sensation boasts over KSh 2.8 million followers on the platform. Moya revealed to his fans that he made his first million on his 25th birthday. “I made KSh 1 million just recently when I turned 25 yrs,” he said. He said that it was his short term goal and he was glad to have achieved it. He wrote: “Happy to have achieved my short term goal God’s time schedule is the best man.” He is the founder of Moya Surprises Limited, which offers people a chance to surprise their lovers at a fee.

4. Ali Abdi.

Ali Abdi, renowned as the Nairobi West Niccur, is a fashion designer.The 23 year old rose to fame after gifting former prime minister Raila Odinga with stylish sneakers. He divulged Raila is a family friend, and he makes around KSh 1 million a month from his Thrift Trendy company.

5. Thee Pluto.

The YouTuber and Instagram influencer previously revealed he made his first million aged 20. The 26 year old also has investments in the real estate sector. He is the CEO of Planet Homes Kenya, an Airbnb company in Nairobi and Mombasa and Summer House Real Estate.
