The Nairobi Mum who went viral after sharing an emotional moment with her daughter, who had just finished the Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams, has been gifted a fully paid holiday trip to the coast.

Miriam Allans told TUKO.co.ke that a Kenyan ravel company gifted them the trip after her followers voted for her.

She explained that Johnbow Tours and Travel had a promotion offering a fully paid trip to Diani for whoever won.

“My followers voted for me, but I did not win the free trip; I came in second. However, after watching my videos celebrating my girl, they decided to help me celebrate more with the kids,” she stated.

However, she came in first runner-up after the votes were tallied, but after watching her viral video, the travel company was moved and gifted her and her the holiday trip.

The voucher allows her and her three beautiful girls to spend three days and two nights in the coastal town of Diani.

Why Miriam and daughter went viral
The businesswoman shared a video on TikTok showing her and her daughter Arabella crying while embracing as she was on her knees praying.

She explained that the moment was emotional because of their journey raising fees, and even for her daughter to join Loreto Girls High School, it was not easy.

She acknowledged that seeing her child walk out of the school without having been sent home for fees even once was very emotional.

Allans also revealed that Arabella knew all the struggles she had been through to pay her fees and take care of her and her siblings.

“We cried that day with my daughter because she knew our story and how far we had come. I recalled when she had just joined Form One and how God had come through for us through a stranger and another close friend. It has not been easy. I told her that we would return here after she clears Form 4 to thank the same God, and she told me that even in university, God shall come through,” she told TUKO.co.ke.
