A tragic incident unfolded in Utawala, Nairobi, after a policewoman, stationed at Muungano Police Station, fainted and died suddenly while in the company of her husband at their rented home.
The unfortunate event has left her family and colleagues in shock.According to reports, the police officer experienced a seizure on the evening of Wednesday causing her to faint.
Her husband, Evans Adongo, immediately rushed her to Reale Hospital in Utawala, seeking urgent medical assistance.
Upon receiving the distressing call, officers from Muungano Police Station, led by the Officer Commanding Station (OCS), arrived at the hospital to assess the situation.
Sadly, they were informed by doctors that the officer had succumbed to the seizure and was pronounced dead on arrival.
Her body has since been transferred to the Chiromo Funeral Home, where it will be preserved, awaiting a postmortem to determine the exact cause of her sudden death.
Authorities have launched an investigation to delve deeper into the circumstances leading to her untimely demise.
