A Kenyan artist is making waves on Facebook courtesy of his hilarious caricatures.
How did artist draw Rashid, Lulu Hassan?
Kamau Jackson often takes a light twist to photos of celebrities, politicians and ordinary Kenyans.
On Saturday, November 16, Kamau drew a hilarious image of Citizen TV journalists Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla.
The couple is the brand ambassador for a fabric softener and took a photo smiling while holding a bottle of the product.
Rashid wore a kanzu and a taqiyah, while Lulu donned a black and white outfit.
Kamau drew the pair but replaced the fabric softener with a chicken.
He exaggerated some features, including the teeth, and drew Rashid barefoot.
One curious Kenyan wondered why Kamau included a chicken, and he responded by saying:
“For Christmas.” The caricature amused many Kenyans, with some admitting that his drawings crack them up.
Here are some of the reactions:
Sunny Ib Nyizy: “How did her nose get into the middle of the teeth?”
Philly Phk: “You won’t see heaven. Just look how you made his toes.”
Sarah Njeri: “It’s high time you get committed. Enough is enough.”
Empress Marizz: “You should be arrested with immediate effect.”
Tabitha Kiratu: “I love your caricature. You always make me laugh.”
Vicky Mc’Ochiel Mach: “You don’t want peace; you always want problems.”
