Former Member of Parliament Kabando Wa Kabando has once again brought up concerns about theft and corruption within President William Ruto’s government.

In a recent statement on his official social media account Kabando called on Deputy President Kithure Kindiki to explain a large donation he made to the AIPCEA church in Sagana.

Kabando specifically mentioned a donation of seven million shillings that Kindiki said he gave to the church on November 17, 2024-

Kabando stated that if the church does not reject this money which he claims came from a secret State House account Kindiki must show proof of the transaction. This proof would be in the form of bank receipts to show where the money came from.

Kabando’s statement shows that he is keeping a close eye on government officials especially when it comes to financial matters involving top members of the government.

“Kabando Wa Kabando wants to know where the money came from and is urging the Deputy President to be truthful- He wants the Deputy President to admit if government money is being used improperly. This shows that people are concerned about corruption and whether government officials are being honest.”

Kabando’s words match the public’s desire for more openness and honesty in how government money is spent.

His demand for responsibility is not just about this one situation; it is part of a bigger push for change and a more truthful government.

Kabando is worried about how the Deputy President manages public money and resources. This leads to a bigger talk about government responsibility in Kenya. People want their leaders to explain and take responsibility for what they do.
