A seventh suspect has been arrested in connection with the recent murder of Wells Fargo Company’s Human Resource Manager, Willis Ayieko.
Samuel Onyango Ongweso was arrested by police last evening in the Doho area of Khisa West in Kakamega County.
According to a police incident report, the 52-year-old suspect was apprehended by officers from Dudi police station and DCI officers from Siaya based on information gathered from members of the public.
The said suspect is among those suspected to have been involved in the gruesome murder of one Willis Ayieko Onyango, whose lifeless body was discovered having been dumped at Mungowere stream on 23/10/2024.
Samuel Onyango Ongweso is now in police custody, assisting DCI officers in Siaya and the homicide unit with their investigations.
The late Wilis Ayieko was laid to rest last weekend at his rural home in Ong’iende village, Alego/Usonga sub-county, Siaya County.
