Nelius Mukami, the wife of Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura, has revealed to her fans that she is currently hospitalized.

The sassy mental health advocate and maternal health champion has further disclosed that she will be undergoing a surgery today, to deal with her endometriosis and also adenomyosis.

In a post that she made on her Facebook account, Nelius Mukami opened up about how she had been quietly suffering from endometriosis for the last 10 years.

She revealed how it has been a big struggle for her and how she has been relying on painkillers to survive it.

“They say the third time’s a charm. Today I’m going for my third Endometriosis surgery – this time to address both endometriosis and adenomyosis. This part of my life isn’t something I often talk about.

It’s been over 10 years since i received a positive diagnosis for endometriosis, though my journey with chronic pain began long before that. This pain has brought its own battles: severe dysmeronia, depression, infertility, and years of relying on painkillers just to get by. I want to remind everyone that painful periods aren’t normal, and they don’t magically go away after childbirth…” she wrote.

The sassy mother of one also asked for prayers from her fans to get through the surgery safely.

As Nelius Mukami goes for her third surgery today, she is also hopeful that things will go well for her after that.

“One day, I’ll share my full story. For now, please keep me in your prayers as I head into this surgery. I have faith that I’m in the best hands, and I am grateful for God’s Provision of the knowledge and resources that have brought me to this point.

I look forward to a life with less pain and better Quality of Life, and I find peace in knowing I’ve given all to my son, my loved ones, and this journey. May my path continue to unfold with purpose and grace”.

The post by Nelius Mukami however elicited massive reactions from netizens, who wished her all the best ahead of the surgery .
